Tami Newcombe has been named as the new President of Tektronix. She has been with the company since 2017 and has been promoted from Commercial President to President. Newcombe’s former role was in charge of spearheading global sales and marketing. Her new position will report to Pat Byrne, the preceding President of Tektronix and current Senior VP of Fortive.
Tektronix, also known as Tek, is responsible for manufacturing innovative testing and measuring equipment. The Oregon headquartered company makes products that include: oscilloscopes, probes, analyzers, signal generators, and video testing equipment. As an experienced industry innovator, the company has grown exponentially and it is now a subsidiary of Fortive, a spinoff of Danaher Corporation.
Newcombe has an impressive background of leadership, with over 25 years of experience at Fortune 500 tech companies. Prior to working at Tek, she lead over 1.5B in sales as the Vice President for Cisco’s Commercial Sales .
